A suspect has brutally attacked a police officer trying to enforce his arrest leaving the officer with a broken head.  Two men fighting (File photo) A Police Inspector attached to Olosun Division, Benson Ohiole was battered and suffered a fracture on his head after he attempted to arrest a suspect who vented his anger on him in Lagos, according to PM Express.   The officer was also left with a broken head in the process and was rushed to the hospital as the result of the assault.   The incident happened at Mushin area of Lagos where Ohiole went to arrest Omotolani and he resisted the arrest.   It was gathered that the victim attempted to arrest the suspect for an undisclosed criminal offence but the suspect maintained his innocence and refused to follow the officer to the police station.   However, trouble started when Ohiole attempted to enforce his arrest as an officer, Omotolani  then attacked him, reportedly used an object to break his head and escaped.

A shocking incident played out yesterday after a junior officer shot dead an Army Captain during an altercation in Chibok.  Late Captain T. Mani. Mani during an altercation, according to a report by SaharaReporters.   It was gathered that Captain Mani stopped Sergeant Ninyo from beating innocent civilians in Chibok, Borno state after responding to distress calls from locals. The University of Lagos will begin testing students suspected to be on hard drugs and serve appropriate punishment to defaulters.    In a bid to check drug abuse on campus, the University of Lagos has provided a drug test kit in its medical centre to examine students suspected to be on hard drugs.   Prof. Rahaman Bello, outgoing Vice-Chancellor of the institution, confirmed this at a forum with News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos.   Bello said that the initiative was necessary because drug abuse was on the increase in the nation’s tertiary institutions. “Drug abuse is a major problem for every institution, particularly, those in the cities.
