Drama as Man is Caught Stealing 20 Bags of Cement from Lagos Factory... You Won't Believe Why He Did It
A
married man has gotten himself in more trouble than he can handle after
being found out to have made away with bags of cement.
A father of three has been arrested by operatives of the Rapid Response Squad, RRS, of the Lagos State Police Command.
He was nabbed while at the verge of sneaking 20 bags of cement from
a factory in Agbado area of Lagos. He blamed his action on his
desperation to raise money for accommodation.
The 35-year-old Abiola Hamzat, who works as a Supervisor in the
company, was arrested alongside his alleged partner in crime, Adebayo
Kazeem, 32, while moving the stolen bags of cement out of the premises
of the brick-making company.
The management of the company stated that the suspect was employed
as a guard and rose to become an operator. When the suspect was
discovered to be a graduate, he was promoted to a supervisor, with a
cash reward of N215,000, last Monday.
Three days after his promotion he was apprehended with the stolen bags of cement.
Hamzat told police that he needed money to provide accomodation for his family.
