Never Trust a Politician: See What Fashola Said About Electricity When Goodluck Jonathan was President

The Minister of Power, Works and Housing has been challenged as he has failed to transform the power sector while things get harder after lambasting the past administration.
Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Ragi Fashola
Following the epileptic power supply witnessed during President Jonathan's administration, some politicians came out to blast his administration for the constant darkness it plunged Nigerians into.
One of those who openly lambasted the government then was former Governor of Lagos State, now the Minister of Power, Works & Housing, Mr. Babatunde Ragi Fashola. He criticized the government for refusing to transform the country and stop the epileptic power supply. He said Nigerian was in darkness as a result of the incident.
But, now many Nigerians are complaining just two years after the mantle of leadership was handed to the All Progressives Power and Fashola given the opportunity to walk the talk of transforming the power sector which he criticized the last administration for not doing.
But, it seems like he was just all about talk an nothing to show for it as things have worsened under his control as the Minister of Power, Works and Housing. Under his leadership, the Transmission Company of Nigeria announced in that power generation capacity has dropped from 3,959 megawatts on January 4 to 2,662 megawatts on January 22 with most part of the country left in darkness.
This simply shows that most Nigerian politicians are all about talk as they cannot perform when given the opportunity to work.
